Partnership
The British Fashion Council forms a new partnership with Getty Images in highlight of London Fashion Week Fall 2017
Twice a year the “Big Four” fashion capitals of the world display their latest collections on the catwalk. Spring in February and Fall in September- London, New York, Milan and Paris. What show do you like watching? Perhaps you tune in for all four?
In the highlight of London fashion week, taking place from September 15th-19th we thought it would be interesting to see who captures the moment of all the best and worst runway looks.
The British Fashion Council (BFC) is the leading platform for fashion designers in both the UK and internationally. Covering each key global event- London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week men’s, The Fashion Awards, London Show Rooms and London Fashion Week festival- they showcase British fashion for a worldwide audience. Our question is who covers these annual events? Who is it that makes British fashion accessible to the world?
Well…in a recent article published by ‘the industry,’ the BFC announced a new partnership with Getty Images, who will become its official supplier providing coverage across leading annual events.
To give you some insight into the gravity of this partnership, Getty Images are a global digital media company who supply stock images for businesses and consumers. A stock photo agency who focus on three markets- creative professionals, the media and corporate. Getty Images photographers attend London Fashion weeks every year and are known as the leading service providing stock photos and editorial news pictures. Through creative minds, community and freedom, Getty Images focus on powerful imagery to impact their audience
This partnership will provide fashionista fans with the tool to stay connected with global events and the latest fashion trends. Fans can view images on a global platform, which will be available to view and download on their website. What better company than Getty Images to form a partnership with the British Fashion Council. Wouldn’t you agree?
With London Fashion Week Fall in full-swing, this partnership was announced in perfect time and we look forward to seeing the new partnership formed between the two. To find out more information about this newly formed partnership, see the link below.
